Wow
Rest in Peace...
I always liked her on ‘Overhaulin’ and her other shows. She wasn’t just a pretty face, she drove and could work with the tools. RIP.
WOW! RIP, Jessi!
Died what she loved doing -
Not familiar with her but I for some reason thought of Payne Stewart, then noticed the word, “car”.
I saw her quite a few times on the Girls Garage show.
She might have been a little bit cra-cra but plenty good lookin’.
Some people have a sparkle. It is genuine and makes others glow from the happiness they spread when ever around.
Sorry to hear she has passed.
Did she have any children? I dont see any pics or history.
She looked a lot older than 39.
She looks like she has good genes. She should have been making babies. Fite me.
Why is there a “women’s” land speed record? Why should this “sport” be gendered? Men have on average a big enough advantage in size, speed, strength and endurance that most sports are gendered, but I don’t see why that would apply to driving in a straight line while a monster engine (or are those cars rocket powered?) does all the work.
Inappropriate,
Good point. I always wondered why the motor sports didn’t employ more slender women and or very small people like dwarves, at least in competitions where you wouldn’t want more weight for traction and where fuel consumption isn’t a strategic factor. It’s probably due to a small % being put in a position to be around the sport at an early age?
Freegards
Shirley Muldowney did exactly that in top fuel drag racing. Without a doubt one of the all time best.
RIP Jessie. Enjoyed your work.
Bunch of girls drive those 15000 hp cars today.
On our way to the Nationals. Tomorrow.
