On Monday, Kentucky Fried Chicken announced the arrival of its newest menu option, a vegan fried chicken called Beyond Fried Chicken.
The meal will be made using plant-based meat substitute Beyond Meat, which aims to look and cook like real meat.
The move comes after several fast-food chains have begun offering plant-based options, including Burger Kings Impossible Whopper, which promised to bleed like real meat.

I’d like to make the creators of this crap bleed like real meat
This is not “Beyond”, it is just “Not fried chicken”
I guess it’s “Fried Cellulose and Pea Protien and Assorted Chemicals”
Have a blindfold test. 1) is real fried chicken with coating of usual KFC herbs and spices, 2) is a KFC plate of kale and dandelion greens with prairie grass garnish and 3) is a Burger King Impossible vegetarian burger with zucchini fries as a side. Pomegranate essence as a dipping sauce.
Trick question. France’s Macron was the guy and he loved the #2 and 3. “100% on poll loved the new veg items”—NYT and WaPo.

Just like GREENBEEFOS does. But there was a price to pay...(THE ULTIMATE CATALYST by John Tane). A 1939 si-fi short story.
I gotta go look it up :)
Why? I know of exactly 0 vegetarians who would go to KFC because of this.
What are these chicken bones doing in my veggie burger???
KFC BFD
My local liquor store has decided to sell mostly craft beer dropping my preferred brand. I saw 2 guys with man-buns shopping. I now shop at the store a couple of blocks down the road. Never returning.
Oh, yum-frankenchicken-I’d have to be starving to eat that s***...
Those are Beyond Bones.
Craft beer = awesome. Man buns, not so much.
The last time I went to KFC had to be 10 years ago.
I had a hankering for a CHICKEN pot pie.
There was no chicken in it, if I wanted potato carrot pie I would have ordered it.
Haven’t been back since.
Just think, for only a $10 delivery fee you can get GrubHub to bring you this dreck.
It is not “plant based”, it is “factory based”.
