Unless they are rotating out another unit, this looks like an increase. IMO, they wouldn’t be increasing staff unless they were expecting new inmates SOON. How far in advance would you staff up?
I hope all of those National Gaurdsman are fluent in the language of traitors.
Six to nine month rotations for up to 1,800 national guard troops at Gitmo. My guess is the Kentucky guard unit thing is a natural rotation.

One of the highlights of my upcoming fall was the September Tate Lecture Series here in Dallas headlined by none other than Mad Dog Gen Mattis.
Imagine my intense displeasure to be notified 2 weeks ago that there had been a lineup change and Mad Dog was no longer to speak.
Of course, my first thought was Gitmo.
I also read just 2 days ago on a link to a post here (or tiger droppings) that common knowledge in the mil world is that Mattis is at Gitmo preparing for mil tribunals.
But of course, we (and the anons) already knew that but may I just say,
Proof.
