I never even thought about the origin of the ridiculous phrase.
All statements are political statements.

The left runs on feelings and emotions completely devoid of empirical data and oblivious to facts. “White privilege” is the perfect phrase for them to co-opt in their war on white people.
It’s like the inane statement “97% of scientists...”

I work in a situation that puts me in close contact with folks from Yamhill and Marion counties. The area is quickly becoming 4 tiered.
1. Wealthy white former Californians and/or wealthy corporate farm families.
2. Shrinking middle class whites
3. Hispanic illegals/newly legal, coyotes labeled as “farm labor contractors” (they always pay in cash, hmmmmm.....I wonder why?)
4. Homeless whites that are drug addicts and or mentally ill.
#2 pays for everyone else. This is not sustainable and eventually will end badly.
That pretty much sums up most areas west of the Rockies. Davis-Hanson has been writing about this in California for two decades and it gets worse every hear.
Victor Davis Hansen is brilliant. Yes, he has touched on this topic over the years.
I love his writing and speaking on classical history more than anything.
The way he connects today to the events 2,000 to 3,000 years ago is just remarkable. It shows that human nature is immature.

I think I heard it mentioned before, but I was really excited to find one of my favorite people provided a meaningful explanation. Jordan Peterson is great. His book can be downloaded on a Kindle.
There is nothing new under the sun. VDH just explains it in such a clear way. He’s a national treasure.
Social justice lets you denigrate your own achievements and wealth as just luck, so others don’t want to tear you down as an evil oppressor or “better”.

As a white person (he, him), I prefer to be referred to as melanin-challenged.
Starrett is a smart and brave lady.
Essentially what this board is saying is that if you don’t accept that you have white privilege then you are a racist. It’s pure communism.
Freedom comes from electing the sanest person who intend to protect the country not the ones who offer a free rind.
Freedom is earned the founding fathers gave their all to form this country true statesmen not a gravy train salesman.
