Got hit with black spot....Pulled some tomato plants after stripping off the tomatoes. Sprayed rest of the tomatoes with baking soda, veg oil and Dawn. It’s suppose to protect the leaves. Seems to be working.

My tomato plants really took a beating this season between cool temps, RAIN, cool temps, RAIN, and then some more RAIN. I was able to pick enough for a few batches of V-8 juice, today, but it’s nothing like the bumper crops I’ve had in other, drier years.

Lots of disease for me, too, though part of that is trying different tomatoes this season and some did not old up well.

Oh, well. luckily I know where the Piggly Wiggly grocery store is! ;)

I spray with a solution of clorox and water after supper. That works too if you need a backup treatment plan. (8oz regular clorox or 5oz clorox concentrate + 1 gal water in pump sprayer)
