METHOD Have a small skillet ready w/ tsp or so of melted butter. Scramble 1-2 eggs in a bowl w/ s/p then into the pan to cook for 45 sec.
Swirl the egg around like a crepe so it's all one, super-thin layer, flip just to set (not cook) the underside.
Now slide it into a tortilla; roll it all up with maybe ham, turkey, cheese, a handful of spinach if you have it on hand.
Eat it as you run out the back door.
Or wrap it in foil and bring it to the garden. Even at room-temp, it's still satisfying.
Hot sauce undiluted can burn a plant. Thats why the dish soap and the hose end sprayer. The water will dilute it. Use a couple ounces hot sauce, 8 ounces lemon dish soap and then water in that sprayer.

I live in CA. and the women out here cant cook a can of soup in the microwave!! I have a SIL that called me and asked how to cook a piece of fresh halibut she is 65 years old, my brother and her have gone out to eat their ENTIRE married life!!! I was STUNNED she could not make a piece of fish!!!

Beau says I have a TON of Pie Pumpkins on in the lower garden, but since he took the 4-wheeler with him up north, I’m not making the hike DOWN and then back UP that @#$%^&*! 45 degree HILL to check it out for myself!
Iowa County. ‘The Driftless Area.’ The Glaciers TOTALLY missed us, and we’re not happy about it! Even when you’re walking DOWNHILL, it still FEELS like you’re walking UPHILL!
It’s amazing to me how many people do NOT know how to feed themselves! Aarrgghh!
When I retired, I SWORE I was going to find some way to teach people how to cook. I’m still looking. Maybe a 4-H instructor of some kind? Randomly grab people off the street and drag them to my kitchen? LOL!
So happy to be born/living while I am! When that balloon goes up, those of us that can cook from scratch, sew up a wound and grow/raise our own food will be revered as GODS!

Beau hates anything in a tortilla - for some reason he has a total dislike of Hispanic foods.
But I’m going to try this at breakfast in the near future to see if he likes it; it’s basically scrambled eggs on toast! And he LOVES my omelettes, so what do I have to lose?
Nothing. Where ELSE is he going to go for breakfast? We live in the middle of NOWHERE. Your other breakfast choices are foraged foods, hay, or dog kibble, LOL!!
don't want to spend a fortune.....I shy away from one with an electric motor since the fewer the parts, the fewer the breakdowns....
any advice....I've got a ton of tomatoes....
I would recommend cooking your tomatoes down in a heavy pot, chopped up, but skins on and cores removed, letting it cool a bit, then use an immersion blender (Cheap - like $20) to basically liquefy it some BEFORE you put it through your Food Mill.
I make my V-8 and Bloody Mary Mix exactly that way before I can it. And that has celery, carrots, peppers, onion, etc. in the mix. Easy-Peasy!
They are catching Halibut here in the bay and off shore. That’s good eats...

My squash was late getting planted this year. I’ve found a few pumpkins on the vine, but most are still small and green.
I so stole that butterfly picture it will make a great puzzle on my laptop. I do 3 a day at least. Fast!
I make breakfast tortillas like that often. That and a cup of coffee and I’m good to go. I only do one egg and throw in a few other things, onion, some veg, a little sprinkle of cheese, a little jalapeno. Then I fold it up in the tortilla like an envelope and put it back in the pan. Brown it just a little, it seals it up and toasts the outside. If you take it on the go in a paper towel there are no worries about anything falling out.

Yuk....I hate burritos.....folding food up in a tortilla is very unappetizing to me.
