It was a coincidence he had “special guards” that night. It was a coincidence the cameras weren’t functioning properly. It was a coincidence the cell mate was moved on Friday Evening. It was a coincidence that those special guards fell asleep on the job. All just coincidences.

I’ve seen also mentioned (not in this article) that guards are not “cooperating” with investigations. This stinks pretty badly. Maybe getting hauled in via subpoena & then questioned under oath will convince the non-cooperators to be more forthcoming. I had to look it up, but they can take the 5th in a federal grand jury.
