While vapping may be harmful, this handful of cases does not prove it is the cause of these lung problems. Correlation is not proof of causation especially with anecdotal evidence in so few cases. There should be serious epidemiological studies done before jumping to conclusions. Smoking has been so vilified that anything resembling smoking must be bad by association. The case for health damage from so-called second hand smoke I also believe is nebulous especially how the anti smoking zealots are using it to ban smoking in public places. For example there are state and regional parks that ban tobacco use, ostensibly to protect against the dangers of second hand smoke, yet allow campfires which likely pose a far greater risk of lung damage.
If people smoked cigarettes they way these kids vape, the carbon monoxide alone would kill them.
Well, guess I’ll have to quit vaping, start again smoking cigarettes and die earlier so I won’t become a statistic.
