Liam Hemsworth has filed for divorce from wife Miley Cyrus, 11 days after the couple announced their separation after just seven months of marriage.
The 29-year-old Hunger Games star cited 'irreconcilable differences' in paperwork he filed on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
The couple had a prenup so their individual earnings during the marriage will remain separate and there is no request for spousal support.
As the duo don't have children together the divorce should be finalized fairly swiftly.

The real reason for the divorce is Liam said in an interview several years back he was looking forward to having children and Miley came out recently she was not going to have children due to climate change.
He thought he was marrying Hannah Montana.
Normally against divorce, but I’d high five this guy and say congratulations!
His brothers and parents are in long term marriages. This is the first divorce in the family. Even still, I’m sure they are glad.
