Alyssa Milano is opening up about her personal experience with abortion.
The actress and activist, 46, who has been speaking out in protest as states pass restrictive abortion laws, shared her own abortion story in the latest episode of her podcast Sorry Not Sorry. Noting that one in four women in the U.S. will have the procedure by the age of 45, she revealed that she one of them and detailed why she elected to have the procedure two times in her early 20s.
In 1993, I had two abortions, Milano shared. I was in love for the first time in the breathless way you can only be in love when you are young. It was huge overwhelming even. It filled every part of living. It was a joyful and exciting and powerful time in my life.
While the Whos the Boss alum didnt say who her partner was, Milano fell in love with actor Scott Wolf that year while making Double Dragon. The pair moved in together months later after and became engaged just months after that.
Milano said she was on the pill because she knew she was not ready to be a parent as she pursued her career. Additionally, she was taking the controversial acne-fighting medicine Accutane, which is known to cause birth defects in pregnancies. And while she was using birth control, I. Still. Got. Pregnant, she said.
Milano talked about what an emotional experience it was for her, especially coming from a Catholic upbringing. But she knew she was not equipped to be a mother and so I chose to have an abortion. I chose. It was my choice. And it was absolutely the right choice for me.

Hmm.
A slut AND a murderer.
And proud of it.
What a lovely piece of work.
And I dont really know, but did Milano ever have a child? I would like to know the statistics of women who had abortions and then went on to be childless.
All that inconvenient GUILT is probably why she’s such a hysterical zealot about ‘women’s rights’ today. She’s still trying to justify both (all?) her abortions.
She was born into a Catholic household.
I suppose she had to give something up for lent. She chose to give up Jesus’ teachings for lent. Poor choice. She got over her Catholic upbringing.
Bye, bye, Alyssa(tan).
My comments are a little harsh? Yes they are.
NO SALE.
Why should I believe ANYTHING a ‘Rat says?
wished the bitch aborted herself..
Correction: Alyssa Milano reveals she murdered two babies in 1993
Her shallowness is overwhelming. You can see where her anger comes from, its from having to live with herself. There is no fulfillment in endlessly trying to satisfy yourself.
Her children will never look at her the same. They may not say anything but they now know their mother killed their siblings.
She can feel guilty at her convenience. Give the child up for adoption and she’ll feel guilty every day.
Two abortions by age 21. She must be proud.
“If she got pregnant on the pill, she wasn’t always taking the pill.
_____________________________________________
Contrary to popular belief, the Pill has a 15% UNSUCCESSFUL rate. She could very well have been on the Pill and taking it everyday as prescribed and still become pregnant.

She will grieve, one day.
She wasnt ready to be a mother but there were two souls ready to live their lives. She denied them that.
You may be surprised on that one
They were never given a chance to live because they were inconvenient for her.
She was too busy pursuing a "career" in shallow, vain Hollyweird.
Again, sad.
“I know of no woman that is ever killed their baby, not a one.”
I’ve known many. They used it as birth control.
Yeah it’s definitely not 1 in 4 women. It’s 1 in 4 pregnancies that end in abortion. But many of those abortions are women getting repeat abortions (like Milano).
“You may be surprised on that one”

Oh, rdcbn, I believe you are correct on that issue.
If you ask a church full of Christian woman if they’ve had an abortion to raise their hands you may get between 1 and 2 that will raise their hands. Those are the honest women. Those 1 or 2 women understand what they’ve done and that the Lord Christ has covered their terrible sin with His blood and that they are forgiven.
Now, those 1 or 2 women will also be as if they were ‘cast out’ as of that day from their church and their friends.
So many, many women who’ve regretted what they’ve done and have accepted the gift of Salvation granted by Christ are still so scared to reach out for help because they will be ‘punished’ over and over and over by their so-called Christian Friends. Amazingly, those so-called Christian Friends would be sinning in their lives daily and still feel they are better than the repentant women.
Yes, oh, yes, there are those woman for whom the act of Abortion is just a ‘thing,’ to avoid bearing a child and never come to know the true gift of Salvation or accept it because they would have to acknowledge sinning and I don’t mean just the abortion...to acknowledge ANY sin no matter how small, just to get to Heaven? It’s beyond them.
So those of you men and women, take slow steps in picking up those rocks.
You men who’ve had girlfriends and whores; you’ve got your own sins to pick-up and put down at the cross. Besides the adultery angle, you may very well be responsible for the child that was aborted and you never knew about. The fact you did not know about the child will get you no reprieve in the final ruling for your sexual activity helped create the child.
I know human nature: It’s very easy to think so much better of ourselves that others. It’s the human condition.
Just saying, take a very slow step when getting ready to throw that rock.
rdcbn, sorry if my ping is too long. I am grateful you wrote your short, simple and insightful ping.
A D&C is not necessarily for the purpose of abortion. I had one when I was having pelvic pains, and the doctor wanted tissue for pathology.
A D&C to terminate a pregnancy is baby-killing just as much as any other kind of abortion.
