The doctor who performed an autopsy on Eric Garner testified on Wednesday that a police officer choked him with enough force that it triggered a “lethal cascade” of events, ending in a fatal asthma attack.

Has anyone person other than Garner been killed by an arm around the neck for approximately 14 seconds?
You would think this might happen in MMA, where people are choked out all the time.
Let’s assume that the officer’s arm did break blood vessels in his neck. How did that kill him? Did he bleed out? How did that trigger an asthma attack?
From watching that video, if anything killed him, it was being smashed up against the wall and the ground with several men on top of him.
I definitely believe that could cause an asthma attack as well as restricted ability to breathe, especially when combined with his own weight, health, and state of agitation.
