I remember when the eyeatolla fell out of his casket!! That was funny right there!

Especially if you play "Yakkety Sax" while watching it.

Back at that time we had an indoor soccer team here called the Pittsburgh Spirit.

Their ad campaign featured one of their players with the ball, photographed James Bond-poster style, through a pair of very shapely female legs. Behind this image they played Rod Stewart’s “Hot Legs” in the TV commercial.

That player (English footballer Paul Child) still lives here where he’s a project manager in the construction industry. He says the #1 question he gets asked about his days with the Pittsburgh Spirit is: “What did that girl look like?”

It was only out of my deep respect for Arlington National Cemetery and what it represents that I was able to restrain myself when passing the grave of Ted Kennedy.

“...an indoor soccer team...”

That is one sport I really miss. The Twin Cities had a team for 4-5 years - the Minnesota Strikers.

Those games were really fast moving and high-scoring. I loved it when the ball was played off the hockey glass.

Indoor soccer is still around but it’s been relegated to third-tier markets like Reading, PA and Turlock, CA.

That was from the old NASL team that moved to Minnesota from Ft. Lauderdale.
