Democracy protests continued in Hong Kong this past weekend. This was after bloody clashes between police and democracy protesters last week. This video was posted online from Hong Kong Airport on Wednesday. Protesters attacked a police officer after he was seen tackling and beating a woman at the Hong Kong Airport. The officer pulled his gun. Gateway Pundits brother Joe Hoft landed in Hong Kong on Wednesday and has been covering the protests from Asia-

Ping.
What is the meaning/significance of Pepe the Frog.
The Great Meme War.
Now those guys know how to meme and they have a lot of fun supporting President Trump.
The guy who created Pepe the Frog made him just a silly stoner character in a comic book, nothing whatsoever to do with politics.
He gradually became a “meme” because there were some good drawings of him saying things like “Feels Good!” that people posted when something went well for them, passing an exam or whatever.
At some point some disgusting racists took another step with the character and used it in a lot of white supremacist and nationalistic race-war propaganda.
The character’s original creator won financial legal settlements against them forcing them to stop, so the character has been less seen lately.
Pepe the frog was (is?) the mascot of the weaponized autists on the chans. They trace his origins back to ancient Egyptian chaos magic.
Forgive my ignorance, but who won a financial settlement against who?
The frog is a meme now. Cannot put the toothpaste back in the tube.
You can say that again!
Heck, hes featured in todays Ben Garrison political cartoon.

Basically a "feelin' good everyman" symbol.

If youre going to say something like that, it would really be better if youd also point out that a whole lot of non-racist, young Trump supporters of all colors and backgrounds also use Pepe the Frog memes as a sign of support of the president and opposition to political correctness that has nothing to do with racial issues. It has been leftist propaganda to associate this meme with racism as another of their ploys to paint all Trump supporters (even minority ones!) as white supremacists. Really its kind of funny considering it a ridiculous cartoon frog that leftists want us to look at like a swastika.
Matt Furie collected cash from Infowars among others, and it was not a licensing agreement, it was a penalty and an agreement to desist.
That was sort of the original idea, but along the way it became something else altogether.
I thought the creator killed off Pepe The Frog

Pepes inventor, artist and illustrator Matt Furie, drew the green frog in an open casket as part of a one-page strip for publisher Fantagraphics Books on Saturday marking Free Comic Book Day.
Furie also posted an image on his Tumblr showing the frog in the casket, linking to an article on Comic Book Resources announcing the character’s demise.

Swastikas were good luck symbols prior to the NAZIs use of it.
Rainbows are harmless but homofascists use them like swastikas everywhere. Gay activist bunting MUST be hung in businesses these days or face shakedown and protest.
