Who's running - post #2
upchuck

Posted on 08/15/2019 9:12:38 AM PDT by upchuck

With so many rats running for president in 2020 it's hard to keep up with who's in and who's out. Hopefully, this post will help. Below is a list of declared candidates, their occupation, the date they dropped from the race (if they did) and misc. notes.

This is the first post of this list. It will be reposted each time a candidate drops out or a new candidate declares. As you can see, Mike Gravel and Eric Swalwell are already gone.

Please let me know via FReepmail if you find errors. Thanks! upchuck

Ok, those are the ones that will NOT have a chance of being nominated, given the first two debates. Here is the list of who does have a chance of the nomination:

1) Skunk Cabbage
2) John Kerry
3) Algore
4) Joe Manchin
5) Just about any other Democrat not associated with those first two debates, starting with governors.

Only 9 candidates qualified so far for the next debate.
Yang is the ninth candidate to qualify for the Sept. 12 debates. The others are Joe Biden, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, Sanders, California Sen. Kamala Harris, New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker, Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg and former El Paso Congressman Beto O’Rourke.

I think Beto is polling at zero right now, but his reboot today (Beto 3.0) should double that.
