(CNN) — Mike Tyson isn't shy about his love for marijuana.
On Monday's episode of his podcast, aptly named "Hotboxin' with Mike Tyson," the former heavyweight champion shared just how much he spends on the psychoactive drug.
"What do we smoke a month?" he asked his co-host, former NFL player turned marijuana advocate Eben Britton. "Is it $40,000 a month?"
"We smoke 10 tons of weed at the ranch a month," Britton said, referencing Tyson Ranch, the boxer's forthcoming 40-acre marijuana farm and "resort."
"Is that crazy?" Tyson asked, though it seemed he already knew the answer.
His guest, rapper Jim Jones, widened his eyes.
"That's a lot of weed," he said. "That's nonstop, every second weed right there."

It takes a lot to keep Mike Tyson mellow.
He just want to sit on his back porch, smoke pot, and not bite anybody’s ear off.

I’m no drug dealer, or customer, but I’m pretty sure it costs more than $2/lb. ha
Maybe he should think about donating that $40K to causes that would help black kids out of a life of poverty and violence...oh wait, that is our job not his.

Really, although Mike Tyson sometimes talks like he’s illiterate he might be on to something
Mike, there is no point whatsoever in smoking that much weed.
You’re not even going to get high off of it at that rate, and you’re basically just smoking it for the flavor, which is fine if that’s what you want to do, but there really isn’t much point in that.
The interwebz informs me that a typical “joint” contain .66g == .023oz of marijuana. Do the arithmetic …

So … who is “we” that are smoking 463,768 joints EVERY DAY at his “ranch”?
Buy a weed-whacker.
He must be getting the truckload discount.

He has a bunch of faults, but I haven’t heard of tax evasion as one of them.
There is no link between lung cancer and pot. I am not advocating anyone smoke it....but it’s much less harmful than cigarettes.
That’s a lot of medicine.
