Let the FBI investigate Epstein?

I know, I know — many of you are going to tell me I should not distrust all the good, honest, hardworking rank-and-file members of the FBI who played no role in their leadership's treachery. After all, we've been fed that line endlessly by politicians and talking-heads. However, it was those same pols and pundits who told us what a reliably trustworthy cop James Comey was when he was heading up the Hillary email inquiry, and that Robert Mueller was such a straight-arrow professional, one who could be relied on to conduct a fair inquest into Trump's possible Russian collusion. So much for their character-reading skills.

The average agent's every-day work is governed by rules, regs and forms. They are in silos where information only goes up. Local agents wouldn't piss if their pants were on fire unless they had clear permission from HQ. They may be good people, but there is no way they can buck this massively bureaucratic top-down system.

FBI will surely enter the Epstein case after which no true information will be forthcoming. This is SOP for any sort of case involving anything that the FBI takes charge of.

Seriously, can anyone name a crime that they would fully entrust the FBI to investigate with complete integrity and competency? Because I can’t.

The FBI building should be razed not leaving one stone upon another and then salt the dirt. Firing 100% of these traitors is just a good first step, many of them should be indicted.

I would not trust the FBI to investigate a lost dog.

Zero trust, zero credibility, not repairable.

LOL. Funny.
The same FBI that waited 6 weeks to raid his Island compound?
What a joke.

They’ll get right on that after they finish looking into who mailed a terrorist threat to Jussie Smollett’s place of employment...

You mean the same FBI that tried to overthrow a sitting President? That FBI? The one that helped Hillary destroy evidence and smash phone? That FBI?

I would have faith in the US Marshall service
not Chris Wray’s FBI.

AMEN! And their history of retribution against their own whistleblowers is an abomination to the word Justice! I personally would not have used the word faking. Grrrrrr.

I have wanted the Marshals to supplant the FIB for many years.
