Last ping, just a lot of animal posts this week, and stupid people. But I hope the NPS puts their message out, but doesn't spend a huge amount of our money at a time when funds are short "investigating" the incident
It’s all fun and games until someone loses a spleen.
Bison can jump a 6-7 foot fence. Or run through it. This dude is lucky not to have his entrails dragged through the park.
Bison are absolutely huge. I would never try to pet one...
Next time go over the railing and pet it.
Petting Fluffy feels so good... until it doesnt
Saw the headline, and figured there would be a photo of Joe Biden. But no, it’s just some guy who’s as smart as Joe Biden...
Are that many people that clueless, that dense, about the danger of these animals? Are that many people simply ignoring the warnings about the dangers of such behavior?
Liberals think wild animals are stuffed toys or cartoon characters.
Paging Mr. Darwin, Mr. Charles Darwin. Please pick up the white courtesy phone.
American bison also have a temper. They’re the kind of animal that the major predators think twice about before attacking! They could kill a lion or any other member of the big cats.
I was bike riding one time and about 100yds away on the path was a doe and her fawn. I stopped and avoided eye contact until the two went into the nearby woods. Even a 120lb deer can kill a human with ease.
I stood next to one in Yellowstone, with a chain link fence in between. They are huge.
You’d really have to screw up to get a deer, especially a doe, to try to kill you.
Better than petting it on the stomach.
Why are some people so stupid that it’s like they are from a different universe?
I was walking yesterday on a nature “track”, and a doe and fawn were about 50’ away. I couldn’t believe they didn’t run sooner. I’m guessing the doe was about 90 lbs.
I was close to one at the Cape May Zoo.(I think there)
I couldn’t believe the size of its head.
Taste. Like chicken.
