Police Fatally Shoot Man in Grants Pass

GRANTS PASS, Ore. (AP) Police shot and killed a man on Tuesday at the offices of the Oregon State Police in a southwestern Oregon town, authorities said.
The Grants Pass Department of Public Safety said in a statement that several state troopers received minor injuries during the incident. Details on what happened were not immediately divulged, but Rep. Carl Wilson, R-Grants Pass, said the state police likely saved lives.

I don’t know if “they” still do it, but back in the 70s it was common for someone to remove the “P” from the highway signs signifying GRANTS PASS.
