Why I Have Zero Sympathy For Remainers

I live in Spain, having retired here in 2016 with my British citizen wife so we could enjoy the weather and be closer to her family in England. The part of Spain I live in has a large number of British expats. Nerja, which is one town over from ours, is called the largest British town not in Britain. You could live your life there and never have to learn a word of Spanish. You can imagine that a whole lot of them are concerned about Britain's scheduled departure from the EU and what it will do to disrupt their lifestyle. You would think that just that would be enough to occupy their time, but you would be wrong. A lot of them also like to make their feelings known about Donald Trump, especially if they hear that there is an American within moaning distance. Anyway, they have their own English language magazine called the Sentinella. If you want to get an idea of what is like you can look at some back issues here. Unfortunately they run a month behind so you can read online what I am writing about. They do love to get digs in on our President, which is why I seldom look at the magazine. But the other day my wife brought a copy home and this is what I read in one of their features:

THE SITUATION:

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water.

It's Donald Trump! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under forever.

You can save the life of Donald Trump or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful Republicans men Hell bent on the destruction of America.

THE QUESTION:

Here's the question and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast colour film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

Thanks. The thing is that many Americans don’t understand WHY the rest of the world criticizes the USA. i think one can understand it after living in different countries.

People in India, in Calcutta (say) won’t have a clue what is going on in Bangladesh but will know what Trump said.

That says something more about the ubiquity of the USA rather than people criticizing it.
