President Donald Trump said that “fake news” from media outlets has “contributed greatly” to problems of polarization in the country and urged the media to report on issues and events fairly.
“The Media has a big responsibility to life and safety in our Country. Fake News has contributed greatly to the anger and rage that has built up over many years,” Trump wrote on Twitter on Aug. 5.
“News coverage has got to start being fair, balanced and unbiased, or these terrible problems will only get worse!” Trump added

Emotionalism is emphasized and perpetuated throughout our educational system.
Children and teens through university level are evaluated for their EQ (emotional quotient). Maybe in the corporate world, as well, although I have no experience in that milieu.
Every single bit of online content attempts to use an emotional hook in the opening paragraphs of most articles that are designed as part of a sales funnel.
The *news* pumps emotionally loaded headlines to keep engagement at a high level.
Lack of emotionalism and lack of interpersonal engagement are considered psychological red flags for depression and distress, as well as for some diseases like Parkinsons or spectrums like autism.
So it’s no wonder people respond by thinking emotionally. They are programmed to do so.
However, it’s a mile wide and an inch deep because only superficial portrayals can be generated when it is expected and required everywhere in response to everything. True depth of feeling is usually absent.
And, since logical, non-emotional expression is still considered a male trait, results are to elevate the traditionally feminine and denigrate the traditionally masculine while still proclaiming that “gender is a social construct”.
People are purposely confused, misled and manipulated to the point of criminality and societal malpractice.

Not just Fake News, but the entertainment industry (video games), TV and Hollywood, popular music, liberal politicians, educrats and other slime balls are to blame.
Liberals OWN the carnage that occurred this past weekend. Even if it was MAGA hat wearing socons that did this - it would still be a backlash - a result of the decades of hate and abuse we normal Americans have taken.
He’s right but I think he does a disservice by calling it “fake” news. He should call it what it is... deliberately and diabolically lying and misleading the public and corruptly coveriing for democrats along with giving them free campaign advertising by taking sides. Its not enought to call it fake. It’s corrupt.
Trump needs to stay on offense on this. The U.S.S.R. did not have a more ferocious propaganda arm than today’s fake news media.

I first started noticing the bias during the Reagan Administration, but I know now it goes back even further.
Doesn’t network news station need an FCC liscence to broadcast?

The pendulum must swing into both aspects of consciousness and come to whole utilizing them both to grow.
All souls have an emotional child which is feminine. Early stabilization is through bonding with mother. A child in the womb will automatically abort if this bond does not exist to some degree.
Then, beginning about 7 or 8, under normal circumstances, logical consciousness begins to develop and assists the person in formulation an ego self separate from the mother. This is why multiplication and division usually is taught in third grade . This shift continues until the 16 year old thinks they are in control and knows it all.
The prefrontal cortex where analytic logic and thought processing is performed in the brain does not fully develop until around age 25, and in many people it does not develop at all.
There are many influences on this development. If there is no father figure, it hinders the shift from emotional child to logical sense of self. Childhood trauma can cause a premature shift to protect from emotional pain. This usually results in an unhealthy perception of self, i.e. the 7 year old going on 35.
Brain operational frequencies also change during the developing child. They begin in Delta in the womb, shift through Theta, then Alpha as logic develops and finally into Beta for analytical logical thought processing.
Only after this process has completed can a soul transcend self spiritually by integrating the masculine and feminine processing(wholeness). Then consciousness can move into the gamma frequency where wisdom develops.
Drugs, both legal and illegal can hinder or block this developmental process through the stages.
The reason that Republican politicians don’t sue for libel is the 1964 New York Times v. Sullivan SCOTUS decision. In Sullivan SCOTUS ruled against a Democrat, so it was apparently not politically biased against Republicans. But if journalism libels conservatives and does not libel “liberals” . . .The reality is that “liberalism” is best defined as “the political philosophy espoused by the journalism cartel.” Consequently, journalists don’t libel “liberals” but incessantly libel their opponents.

Journalism’s “conspiracy against the public” is its propaganda campaign to the effect that “journalists are objective.” The truth is, of course, that attempting objectivity is hard, but convincing people via propaganda is - for journalists - quite easy. All journalists need do is be unanimous, and call their unanimity “objectivity.”
Journalism maximizes its perceived importance by finding fault with society, and proclaiming that the government must “do something.” Naturally journalism slants to socialism, and naturally unprincipled politicians go along and get along with journalism.
The Sullivan decision, to the extent that it entitles “liberals” to their own facts in addition to their own opinions, is dead wrong. 1964 was the heyday of the Warren Court. In 2019, the composition of SCOTUS is different. The Republican Party must sue journalism - must sue “the Associated Press and its membership” - for $10 billion.
“These terrible problems will only get worse” until journalism is forced to stop libeling Republican politicians and Republican voters.
