Some of these kids need help. There are also tons of people on the streets that are mentally ill or have serious drug addiction problems.
If you have someone in your family with mental problems there is really no place you can turn to get help. Doing away with mental institutions was a bad thing, they should have just been made better.

‘Mental Illness’ itself doesn’t exist without growing from further underlying problems.
We’ve got a lot of abysmal education, horrible influences from pop culture, and bad parenting, all of which fail to instill solid and positive values.
In the ‘old days’, young men had opportunities to prove themselves of value and worth to their families and communities - ways through which they became men, through responsibility.
Many young men don’t have those responsibilities imposed upon them anymore - and without that opportunity to develop real self-esteem, they become ‘sick’, and seek sick outlets.
