Todays Cryptogram
GJM ANSD LJ DIWDRL LATEZO JX GJMUODKX FDXJUD GJM RNE VJ LADP. PTRANDK HJUVNEL
Today's Cryptogram is from The Arkansas Gazette
You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
Solution to our last puzzle:
THE WAY TO ACHIEVE YOUR OWN SUCCESS IS TO BE WILLING TO HELP SOMEBODY ELSE GET IT FIRST. IYANLA VANZANT
Author’s name was the sticking point, as expected...
That’s a great quote! I lucky-guessed the first word and woosh!
Wait... is there an extra letter on the end of the author’s last name?
My question, too.
About 2 min. I recognized the author as a great philosopher.
I like this one. No punctuation....so no contractions. LJ, JX,VJ.....and the digraphs GJ and LA.
Googling the quote indicates that there is indeed an extra letter.
No, I’m not finding that... I don’t understand.
You’re googling the quote and it’s not coming up as you know who? Almost posted a spoiler. I’ll PM it.
2 minutes, once I figured there was a typo adding a letter to the last name.

Rats!!! As hard as I try to get these puzzles right, I screwed up again...
PLEASE DROP THE LAST LETTER OF THE AUTHOR’S NAME. IT’S PROBABLY OBVIOUS THAT THIS IS A TYPO!!
My apologies to all, and I promise no more mistakes....
Corrected puzzle!!!!

Took me forever. I almost gave up. There seems to be an extra letter on the author’s name and the quote is missing a letter, or I found a different quote that fit the same pattern!
As often as I transpose letters in transcription, one more typo won’t hurt.
At least he tried....
If at first you don’t succeed, try the outfield.
Got the two letter words, but completely stumped.
Came back later, figured out word one, then word two, and the rest quickly fell into place
