Americas leading mustard brand, Frenchs, has collaborated with trendy California-based ice cream company Coolhaus to create mustard-flavored ice cream. The suspect sweet will be served up starting the week of Aug. 3, which is not coincidentally National Mustard Day.

When I was nine years old, I experimented with adding mustard and ketchup to ice cream. It was a bad idea.
Jalapeno ice cream is really good. Wasabi is solid. That funky bite of mustard would be a challenge to flavor around, but it might work.
When I as about that age I put mustard on cottage cheese, it was about as bad as you would expect.
Mustard, honey, and hickory smoked ice cream might be really good

You make all kinds of sauces with creams. Cheese, jalapeno, mustard, etc.
When I started thinking about it like that I realized some of these combination might actually taste good.
