The Democratic Party will hold a presidential primary debate over two days in Detroit, Michigan, on July 30-31, 2019. It is the second of 12 Democratic primary debates scheduled for the 2020 presidential election.

I think that Elizabeth Warren is right to bring up the Money Question, which dominated American politics from 1796-1912, and the bipartisan agreement to ignore it and to abdicate Congress’ authority to regulate the value of money has damaged the nation.
HOWEVER
Although I am not a political science major, anyone who thinks Americans will volunteer to listen to THAT VOICE for four years, is nuts.

What a brilliant, trenchant, and clarifying analysis by good old Dan; now we really know what to think. This brings to mind how much we miss him and his old Selectric.
CNN did a lousy job. They allowed the candidates to tell blatant lies without challenge. And they asked stupid questions.
