Italy and Greece have their own problems. They don’t really care much about American politics. If you are looking to make a political statement the only people to react would most likely be other tourists and getting into a tussle in a foreign land is something best avoided.

It’s not worth it to try and make any kind of statement in a foreign country.
Might want to stay home to avoid even laying eyes on the “eurotrash.” When foreigners come to the US and display such contemptuous arrogance we are rightly feed off. Don’t be that guy in someone else’s country.
Yeah, after 2 Americans just stabbed a policeman to death in Italy, do tout, “I’m an American”.
It won’t be me. I’m just making suggestions. I’ve been to Canada twice. Never been to another foreign land nor do I crave to do so. Iived in the North East for my 70 years and now that’s no longer America. I eventually plan to find what remains of America and relocate there.
Enjoy Europe for me. Let me know how it works out.
BTW I shoot in competition and belong to a large range organization. Three of the guys I shoot with are from Europe. Scotland, England and Poland...they shoot together as a team and call themselves “Eurotrash”. Nice guys. They’re glad they got out.
If either of you live near me you can have the cap. I just looked it up and it sells for $41.00.
