Multiple Wisconsin police agencies are investigating shootings at two separate homes in Lake Hallie and Lafayette that left five people dead.
The Chippewa County Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call in regards to a shooting incident at a home in the village of Lake Hallie Sunday around 10:30 p.m. When police arrived at the home, they found a man and woman who were deceased, and two other adults who had been injured by gunshots. The shooting victims were transported to a local hospital for treatment of their injuries. No information on their conditions has been released at this time.
Early Monday morning, Chippewa County deputies went to the Lafayette residence of one of the people who died at the home in Lake Hallie in an attempt to make contact with family members of the victim. When the officers entered the home, they found three other people, all of whom who were deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
Police believe one of the people they found at the Lafayette home is the gunman responsible for the homicides at both locations. They do not believe that there is any additional threat to any members of the public.
The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate. KSTP has a crew in Wisconsin and will continue to update this story with more information as additional details become available.

I have no words other than, if you need to kill yourself due to mental problems, or you’re just a sad-sack selfish JERK who wasn’t temporarily getting his way, do the World a favor and leave everyone else OUT of it!
