Two city officials say an Alabama animal shelter's outdated equipment allowed two pit bulls to fatally maul 29 cats.
WTVY-TV reports the dead cats were found Thursday by workers at the Dothan Animal Shelter.
Shelter Director Bill Banks says the dogs forced their way out of a pen. They then pushed hard on a galvanized bar attached to a chain link fence, knocking it out of a clamp which allowed them access to the cats.

Not an anti-pitbull person, but lead to the head till they're dead.
They were killing for sport.
BTW - the pitbulls should be sport-killed - just to let them know what it feels like...

You’re bright enough to know that the difference is pit bulls can kill Humans and other dogs as well as cats.

Dothan, Alabama is an area of the USA which has an incredibly long warm growing season. By the 1st of June they have already got vine ripened tomatoes. Story is they just do not have a lot of money. Tomatoes just do not have the economic power of aero-space or micro-chips.
Dogs of Peace
Every pit bull everywhere should be put down. All of them.

I have cats and dogs living together peacefully. The dogs have to be supervised because they are young and the cats weren’t raised to fear my house or property. I am the alpha with the dogs, they get in trouble if they get agressive with the cats, but they know they’re my cats. A stray still gets chased and I have to be watchful. I have no trust factor only discipline to keep the peace. Dogs and cats are oil and water as near as I can tell. I own at this time a 4 year old blue healer, a 1 and a half year old Kelpie, and 3 rescue cats. This ain’t my first rodeo. Training and vigilance are all I have, and it’s not fool proof. EOS
They need much stringer cages, so the dogs can’t get out.
They are such gentle dogs. Errrrrr
Wonder what the cats did to trigger them like that? Surely, this isn’t the fault of the pit bulls.
No explanation needed for what these vicious dogs did.
Could have been 27 toddlers, all the same to them.
