I live in the Lake Tapps area of Washington, it's about halfway between Seattle an Mt. Rainier. This is on the south side of the territory composine the White River watershed. I was coming back from a nearby Texaco station and I glanced into a neaighvors yard and I saw...
Three MONSTER buck, with antlers, the velvet on one of them was getting loose and droopy. They were NOT blacktail deer and I am wondering if anyone else fron near here can tell me, they were a uniform brown in color, like a reddish brown, but absolutely uniform.
It surprised me to see them at all - but beyond that, the fact that there were three huge males just sorta palling around... I didn't have my cell phone with me, so no pics.
More like Monster Bulls.
When I was a kid growing up in Idaho, our family hunted elk and harvested deer on those hunts when it was convenient to do so. We did do a family Thanksgiving morning deer hunt for anyone who had a deer tag left.
Went down to S. Georgia hunt property this weekend. Trail cams showing several 10 point and even more 8 point this year. Even with velvet may be missing some nubs in the pictures. Cant wait for rifle season.
