Please contact your senator and tell them to deny President Trump's nominee for the 5th District Court of Appeals. He needs to listen to Ted Cruz, because Ted is 100% correct here.
The nominee in question is Judge Ozerden. He is currently a District judge who was appointed by George Bush in 2007 to the Southern District of Mississippi.
In 2012, Ozerden hear the complaint of the Catholic Diocese of Biloxi, whose leaders said the contraceptive mandate of Obamacare violated their religious liberty and the deeply held religious belief in the sanctity of human life. He refused to protect Christians from being forced to follow the Obamacare contraceptive mandate.
It’s no longer business as usual with America’s activist judges, so it can no longer be business as usual in choosing America’s judges. We must choose committed pro-life constitutionalist who will fight to set the American judicial ship right, and Judge Ozerden has proven by his record that he will not be that.
In this case the Judge's father was a Muslim immigrant from Turkey. Neither his father nor him has ever renounced their Islamic faith. Islam allows Muslims to lie like dogs to advance Islam.
Trump needs to pull back the nomination of this man, who obviously sided with Obama against the Diocees on Obamacare’s contraceptive mandate.
Trump is a great President, but even the great Ronald Reagan failed to see the warning signs with Sandra Day O’Connor and Anthony Kennedy. In O’Connor’s case, she was appointed by Reagan with the belief she vote to form a majority in overturning Roe vs Wade, she didn’t.
50 million murdered babies later, that nomination looms as probably Reagan’s biggest error in judgement. Trump needs to listen to Ted Cruz and pull this nominees name from consideration for the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals, which hears cases from Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi.
