Women and minorities will be hurt the most when the asteroid impacts. White males will not be hurt because the asteroid is a misogynistic racist.

Instead of constant war making by profiteers we should be formulating and being ready to execute plans to prevent such an asteroid from striking earth. This would change life as we know it for everyone on earth. Truth be known the elites would already be in life sustaining bunkers long before they tell us it is here.

has a pretty good chance of hitting our planet if its orbit manages to intersect with our Earths orbit.Do people actually get PAID to write this stuff?

It is predicted to be 4+ million miles away from Earth. If the thing came between the EArth and Moon I’d worry.

Well, we got this years asteroid warning.
Now we just have to wait for this years solar flair warning.

1870 feet in diameter...much bigger than the 66 foot diameter Chelyabinsk meteor over Russia back in 2013. No kidding!
Ratio of volumes (assuming spheres) and masses (and impact energy) is (1,870/66)^3 ~ 23,000.
How big do you need for extinction?

What a sensationalistic article.
0.04977 au x 93,000,000 miles = 4,628,610 miles.
Our own moon is only 238,000 miles away.

1 astronomical unit (A.U.) equals the average distance from the earth to the sun, so . . .
0.04977 x 92,960,000 miles = 4,626,619.2 miles
I don’t think I’m gonna worry about this. If I were riding the asteroid at 7:23 am on August 10, the earth would look like a damn pea from that distance, if not smaller.
