Still would be nice to have confirmation if he's in the outage zone or not.

It's hard to imagine that a prison facility would not have backup power.
Power outage probably didn't bother them.

Upthread, bagster’s post re prison blackouts.

Usually state or federal installations and, well, “budget restraints” ya’know.

We did have a backup generator. But more times than you would expect, while they sat idle, waiting for a chance to save humanity, when their time came to shine, they failed to perform like they were Hugh frikkin Hefner.

Union maintenance men, you see.

I imagine other facilities may have similar problems.

Also due to electrical issues, during the transition from regular power to generator power, something SOMETIMES caused a glitch in the matrix that would pop all the locks.

It was touch and go when the power went out.

Sketchy workmanship from the get.

I much preferred bars and big keys. Reliable and you could run your stick down them like in the movies.

Wanna hear a funny jail story? One story, kids, then its time for bed.

Bagster tales:

So this one time I'm walking down this tier (barred/open housing).

This smartass convict sasses me, "Guard, guard my D is hard".

Thinking fast, as a Bagster is prone to do, I says, "Punk, punk get in your bunk".

I won. And his cellies concurred.

Goodnight, my droogies.
