President Trump will announce that he is backing away from trying to include a citizenship question on the 2020 census during a Thursday afternoon news conference, according to multiple reports.
The president instead will take executive action to direct the Commerce Department to collect the information by other means. ABC News was the first to report the development.

I AM A CITIZEN OF THE USA-— BORN HERE.
Then, I will block out the bar code on the forms so they HAVE TO INPUT IT ALL BY HAND.

I imagine that he knows there will be so much coaching that a question every 10 years is useless...he probably wants something with a better chance of getting the facts.
