We have tried pinging Twitter website using our server and the website returned the above results. If twitter.com is down for us too there is nothing you can do except waiting. Probably the server is overloaded, down or unreachable because of a network problem, outage or a website maintenance is in progress...

This is what happens when they mess with their own system. One of the many “adjustments” to the feeds must have caused a bad system cascade.Yep. They're all buggy now. In their efforts to implement algorithms to control viewpoints, they've managed to muck up the usability of their sites.
My very non-political wife uses Facebook to advertise her home-baking business. She's always getting completely benign posts flagged as inappropriate. She appeals and the flags are removed but still, it is an unnecessary frustration for her and a frustration that didn't used to be there.
