Am I supposed to be embarrassed because a poster presumes to think he’s so well known he can post a fly by, sober piece of crap that he doesn’t mean and we’re all supposed to know him and laugh. Good luck with that.

Lots of folks love sarcasm. But some hate it when they don't understand a sarcastic remark and get called out on it.

I recommend we ALL resume using /sarc tags so as not to upset or offend those not witty enough to spot it when they see it

Did I say I didn’t UNDERSTAND sarcasm, anywhere, Tee Pee? Where are ya’ going with that one?

Why blame it on stupidity, or on my being too offended, and witless you said, for not knowing that some drive-by poster’s comment was supposed to be known as Sarcasm? I’ve never seen that poster before, that I recall.

Come on. Don’t be a prick. You *only* knew it was Sarcasm yourself (enough to preach on recognizing it), because you already knew the poster. Geeez, smart, you. (Please, clap.)

I’d say that your familiarity with the poster was less to do with your superior cleverness, or catch, but was more like a simple but significant, instant Advantage for you— wouldn’t you? Having nothing to do with the stupidity, witlessness & tendency to be too offended to know it when I see it [sarcasm]. (Also nothing to do with your elite powers of deduction, either, but only your ready familiarity with the poster. Period.)

Snark tags spare a Poster from being mistaken by the Reader, and the readers from having to taking a lot of gratuitous snot shots from the to big for their britches crowd, who are in the know, but seem to get a kick out of dragging out the finger waving, pointing and guffawing at those who are not.

It’s not always just a sarcasm post. Sometimes, without a tag, it’s also unnecessary trouble making. Enjoy the difference, genius.

Now you switch horses and recommend to ALL, to use snark tags. For the galacticly stupid, you know. I bow to your wisdom, while smirking out loud.
