If the citizenship question is not on the census...BURN YOUR CENSUS FORM!

Posted on 07/08/2019 7:25:43 PM PDT by GraceG

I have decided that if they keep the citizenship question off the census... I am going to burn my form in front of the census taker and record it all on my cell phone.

Let them arrest me... No watering down our Representation as a citizen. PERIOD.

Those in the Blue States need to mark zero in house. Deprive the Blue States of representatives and electoral votes.

Let me see if I can follow this logic. If the census doesn’t have a question about citizenship, you would prefer to skew the census count away from a count of citizens, disenfranchise yourself, and attempt to goad a college kid making twelve bucks an hour to collect forms into a high noon wild west standoff for the future of the coutry?

The people who are most eager to keep the census count skewed in their favor by avoiding an accurate count couldn’t ask for better help in achieving their goals.

This would only work in Democratic states like CA and NY and others.

Not returning the form is a bad idea. They will call you or send someone to your house to fill out the form with you.

If you live in NY or CA a better option would be to complete the form but only put ONE resident. Don't count your wife and children.

That way you won't draw their attention for a follow up visit.

Even if they compared your residence to the census to 2010 they have no idea if you divorced your wife and she took the kids.

If you live in a Red state add as many people as won't raise suspicion. Maybe you remarried and it's a Brady Bunch family.

Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, Bernie Sanders, and all the rest thank you from the bottom of their little Commie hearts.

Good point. I see nothing to be gained by not filling out the form whether the question is on it or not. Showing I was pissed wouldn’t impress anyone.

Repeat after me:

"I do not believe that my PII will be confidential in the hands of the politicized Commerce Department."

(PII is "Personally Identifiable Information", and it will blow their hair back that you know exactly the right boxes to check in your refusal to participate.)

I’m in Texas, so I can’t afford to do that.

NO!

Only blue state Republicans should resist. Republicans NOT being counted in blue states will offset the illegals counted. Republicans resisting in competitive or red states empowers democrats.

Actually, what is being discussed now is NOT filling out the form at all, if you live in a Deep Blue State, because the only measurable ‘benefit’ of being counted there is to help pull in more Congressional seats...seats that otherwise could go to Red States, or at least purple states.

So, if you live in California, BURN IT! Same for NY, IL, and a few other hopeless states.

Another brilliant FReeper plan!

Under Title 13 of the U.S. Code, you can be fined up to $100 for refusing to complete a census form and $500 for answering questions falsely. However, the Website for the U.S. Census Bureau points out that the Sentencing Reform Act of 1984 effectively increased these minimum fines to $5,000.

I’m thinking it might be fun to wear a sombrero and speak spanish as you video yourself and burn your census form.

I don't have to burn the census form. I'll simply do what I did in 2010, 2000 and 1990 before that: I'll ignore it and slam the door in the face of any census idiot who shows up at my door. That's what I've done before and that's what I'll do again.

FedGov can kiss my ass, I don't care who's in the White House (and I love my President but still, I live in Illinois and this state is corrupt as f***!)
