So, in their poisoned little minds, Epstein is the new Mueller. Atty Comey should be pushed off of this case. Failing that right away, efforts should be made to publicize who she is, and how she is likely to support her father, the pompous Jim Comey will all she wishes to do.

I for one am not concerned, as I do not believe that President Trump ever participated in what Epstein participated in. While another distraction not wanted, warranted, nor appreciated, I expect the same outcome as the Mueller witch hunt. In other words, there is nothing there.

This is not a federal indictment, but a STATE indictment, specifically, New York State. As the arresting authority, they have first digs at Trump, even before the feds can weigh in. This is key, because as the arresting authority, they can control the prosecution strategy, the venue, and the narrative.

I think this is more the effect of the “me too” movement which is overall hurting the Dems more than the Right by a long mile. Interesting that it is Leftists who champion the me too revelations, in a fascinating orgy of self cannibalism. Maurene Comey is not in charge of the prosecution. She is a member of the team, but not the lead. I agree that she has a huge conflict of interest there, because of her connections to the Clintons, both of whom are devoted clients of Epstein's. Donald Trump's only reported connections to Epstein is that he helped the feds shut down Epstein's recruitment of underage girls, possibly more than once.

The Clintons are the ones who should be worried, which is why, I suspect, they want Maurene on “their” team for damage control.
