Here’s the thing... most of those Dems are dead. Dead or retired. And while the elites of their party think nothing of holding the Founding Fathers to modern standards, they will resist any demand that they apologize for Robert Byrd — an open Klansman in their midst. They will resist condemning Hillary Clinton who cozied up to Robert Byrd. And they will resist any acknowledgment that Bill Clinton traded favors with segreggationists in Arkansas both to evade the Draft and obtain a coveted Rhodes Scholar slot. And how will they do this? They’ll simply ignore the demand. It is a neat debating point, however, and one that Donald Trump should keep in his hip-pocket to smite his opponent or some snotty lib-reporter.
Only because you said "they’re better off just ignoring the issue." They're not going to be able to do that. It's a little tough to ignore an issue that's being thrown in your face.

So, using a tactic that the left uses, Since Harris forced Biden to apologize, then on her behalf, I demand apologies from ALL people who supported the segregationist Senators of the past, the Present day politicians who supported those Senators, and from Obama and Hillary, and all the people who supported THEM! Those who won't apologize are racists!

The past NEVER dies with Democrats. They own segregation and the politicians who sponsored it, and the politicians who cooperated with the segregationists. Harris reminded them of it, and Biden acknowledged it and apologized for it. SHE brought this issue up, and Democrats who try to criticize President Trump as being racist just got the rug pulled out from under them.
How would the corrupt jerks at the Washington Post and New York Times have covered Trump’s run for office IF HIS FAMILY HAD OWNED SLAVES...
