Indeed. This young girl has “the eye of the tiger”. Props to her and her rightfully proud parents.
Is it me or does she look just like the William’s sisters did when they were starting out? If I didn’t know any better I’d be convinced it was their offspring.

She is the 5th youngest to make it into this round. Stefi Graf did it twice — once at 14+ and once at 15+. Graf holds the youngest and 3rd youngest on that list.

I didn’t know that about Graf. She retired at age 30 when she was still competitive at the top (ranked 3rd in the world) and still winning majors. Had she stayed active for a few more years she no doubt would have set records that would still be standing.
I enjoyed watching her play and missed her presence after she retired. Of course she had a personal life she wanted to live ... so God bless her.
She is a pretty girl and I hope she is mentally, emotionally, and spiritually in the right place as she continues through life.

On TV she looks like Venus’s twin when playing; not so much in the face.
Apparently she has spurted up to 5’11” just recently, which gives her a bit of a gangly look right now.
Coco is originally from Atlanta and made a name for herself in the local tennis circuit.
A local sports station has a guest that knows her and her family very well and tells how truly talented she is at tennis.
The family moved to Florida to give her the training she needed to be successful.

Lots of young talented athletes from the former Soviet Union, China, and so on.
That said, she’s from ATL, which is where I live, so it’s very exciting to see her doing so well. :-)
Geez, I know tastes vary, but finding them at all attractive is hard to fathom.
Damn right she will.
