You really don’t want to live much longer, do you? Your “average life expectancy” shows you are really apt to die soon, anyway.

I’m sure our Congress critters and other elites will be getting the same advice and treatment? Who’s going to tell them?

And yet each one of us on this planet is only one step away from not seeing that truck or train.

I’d like to know in order to get my affairs in order, and get some good opioids so I can a least not die in excruciating pain.

Apparently inner-party members like Kennedy and McCain have longer than “average life expectancy” included with their government healthcare plan.

Even if you’ve had pre-cancer you’re told you should get a pap smear every 3yrs now instead of annually. Makes no sense.

In my late 60s a routine PSA test led to a diagnosis of prostate cancer. It was an aggressive type and I was told that if untreated bone cancer would kill me in a couple of years. I had the recommended prostatectomy. A couple of years later, PSA levels started rising, indicating that some of the little bastard cancer cells were still around, so I had radiation treatment. I think will continue to get PSA tests if it’s quite all right with Johns Hopkins. I’d prefer to stick around.

Back in the day (1950’-70s) Insurance companies felt the grand old age of 60 was the norm and it was for some 85%, give or take, of our population...now we’r seeing lots of 100+ year olds still here...

I’m 7 and just went through my last colonoscopy. I’ll do mammograms for another few years since I’m a survivor but I decided not to take Tamaxafin.

A doc actually said to me more men die with prostate cancer than from prostate cancer.

um...OK, that makes me feel better...

“the U.S. health care system spends an estimated $7.8 billion on mammograms each year.”

This is the mentality of the central planner and the act as thought it is a government expense.
It is paid for by individuals, often in contract with an insurance company. There is no “US health care system”.

That is like adding up what we spend on groceries and calling it the US food shopping system.

Also, life expectancy is 78 years. So at age 68, they have decided it’s time to quit testing you.
There is a disease among doctors these days. They are all suddenly MBAs on the most effective way of distributing healthcare. They are collectivist azzholes and never seem to notice that all of their tools, procedures, tests, beautiful hospitals etc came about for one reason only....somebody decided they can make a buck.
That why we have something like 5 times more MRI machines per capita than most countries.

Zeke Emanuel, one of the brains behind 0bamacare said there’s no reason for anyone to live past 75. Then Pelousi, Her Heinous, Breadlines Bernie among others would be well past their expiration dates. And why is RBG, at 85 recieving cancer treatments when there may be much younger illegal aliens who are more deserving? These old farts should step up to the plate and set an example. Retire, put their affairs in order and show us how it’s done.

The Idiot Biden is worried about how we tell fraudulently documented foreigners that they will only get free health care at the ER, no free government medical insurance.

“For doctors, talking to a patient about the idea that they’ve “aged out” of cancer screening can be a challenging conversation”

Any sawbones tells me that, I will tell them I’ve also “aged out” of a life sentence being a meaningful deterrent.

In 10 years (3 if we have a democrat president) the question will be: “What kind of music do you want to hear during your Life Exit Procedure?”

I’ve seen the warning signs developing for years now. We are rapidly approaching a time when the government will say “well you’ve reached the end of your useful life, you are a burden on the rest of society. It’s your duty to take these pills and die.”

They want us disarmed for this, as they know there are a lot who “won’t go gentle into that good night.”

I’ve seen quite a few in the millennial crowd say things like “everyone over age 75 should be put down, they don’t contribute anything.”

Do you think for a second that the think for the moment, “it’s all
About ME” generation won’t gladly adopt government policies like this?

Doctors are already refusing to treat people at a certain “stage” of illness and dumping them in hospice where they can be ODed on morphine.

Now they are talking about refusing certain care options for the old.

This is what devaluing human life brings.

So it’s here, how do we get ahead of it, if we know where this ends? Why does our side always fight the battle when the mandated killing starts and it is engrained in the society, rather than predicting that 10 or 15 years from now the mandated killing will start are getting ahead of it before it becomes an entrenched policy.

If we had pushed a marriage amendment in 1996, rather than in 2004, we could have had it. We are always 10 years late to the battle.

Odds are good that one of the married couple will live into their 90’s. Makes sense to continue doctor appointments into your 90’s as well.

The Dems are preparing for single payor, and when you inevitably ration healthcare then people in their 70’s and 80’s will be discouraged from seeking preventative screenings.
