SHELBY, N.C. — (snip) A controversial topic reignited. Police called over a trip to the bathroom.
“We don't really get this kind of call much,” said Captain Steve Canipe with the Shelby Police Department.
Police say 22-year-old Michael Lloyd, who identifies as a woman, used the women’s restroom last Sunday. According to the arrest report, that upset another customer, David Short.
He told police his wife was in the bathroom at the same time and he “didn’t feel that was right.” He called police, who responded and explained the law.
“The officers instructed the patrons who were having a question about if it was legal, of course it is legal for this young lady to use the bathroom that she identified with,” Canipe said.
Police say the reason for the arrest came a few minutes later.
“They had already left the restaurant decided to come back in and I guess express their opinion by actually spitting at someone, so that is where the problem came in,” he said.
Llyod's family had no comment on the entire situation.
The highly controversial original law known as the "bathroom bill" was repealed back in 2017. Now, a transgender person is able to use the bathroom of the gender they identify with.(snip)
Lloyd was released on an unsecured bond.
A spokesperson for Denny's released this statement:
"Denny’s does not tolerate discrimination of any kind. We are were saddened to hear about the altercation between two guests that took place in Shelby last weekend. Our bathrooms policies across the country allow guests to use the bathroom of their gender identity. Our staff are trained to ensure everyone, regardless of their gender identification is treated equally and we expect our guests to treat everyone in the same manner."

Dad/Husband: Stand at the restroom door and tell any who approach that the restroom is full; “Wait a few minutes.” Wait until your family members are out before allowing anyone in.
Trannies won’t do well in Shelby.

About the same reasoning I use as to carrying when a business posts a ‘no carry’ sign.
If I really want/need to go in, I go by the assumption that we call it CONCEALED carry for a reason.
If I don’t tell you or am not ‘forced’ to use it, no one (other than me) will be the wiser.

If you are desperate, nothing should keep you from using whatever bathroom is available.

What used to be considered transvestite is now, shockingly, PC to call cross-dresser. I know it’s an old term also but apparently better. (Transvestite literally means cross clothing person.)
Transgender SHOULD be what was called transsexual, which literally means cross sexual and thus someone who really is changing. Strangely, all our pervert enablers seem to have become extremely sensitive to the word “sex” as apparently that is too indecent for them.

Looks like Denny’s goes off the list too. Their statement was so condescending. While we are catering and wasting time on the whims and fancies of the 2%, our country is being invaded by illegals (disease, crime, tax dollars, rape, murder, etc.) and no one seems to care.

Is there a good list of companies that are caving and enabling and DEFENDING these defective perverts? Maybe easier to have a list of GOOD companies.
This is egregious...defending ALL trannies and allowing them NATIONWIDE access. Despite this being a non-sequitur, wherein the TRANNY was the perp.
Until people realize that transgenderism is a mental illness, this will not be resolved.
That’s the best solution, single person toilets take up less space, provide greater value to users, and can be cleaned without cutting off bathroom access. No downside, they just need to put unisex signs on and be done with it.
