Here's what AOC leaves out of her sob story. The toilets are a toilet-sink combo unit with potable water piped into it. In fact there is a sign above it that indicates the water is potable. The sinks on some of the units might not work, but the water it would have dispensed is the same as what is in the toilet bowl, so yes you can drink out of the toilets because it's the same water that comes out of the sink.

Those toilets she says they drink out of is a complete lie. The toilets have sinks at the top. They do this so the detainees don't flood their cells and cause massive damage. Also they are that way for the safety of the detainees. The water in the sink is fresh water. She is outright lying. I don't believe AOC's comments, many border agents are daily saving illegals who are found in the desert, dehydrated and in poor conditions, they save some drowning as they attempt crossing the Rio Grande. You may be familiar with the style from your bartending days. They are not as wide yet deep and very convenient for ladling the water out to drink. And the grade of ceramic helps to keep the toilet water filled to just the right refreshing temperature.
