That’s crazy. Tennis is such a young athletes sport.
Venus is ranked 44 now, not all that impressive in tennis.
It’s not like golf where a 44th ranked player can win a major and nobody is really that surprised.
I think there’s a chance that Serena Williams may be playing her last season on the WTA Tour. She’s getting beat by younger players in the Grand Slam tournaments 10-15 years younger than her.
Venus should have shot her father and and retired before having to submit to the disgrace of being an old worn out loser.

At 39 yrs of age Williams can no longer compete with the kids at this level.
Time to quit before she makes the same mistake so many pros before her have made of hanging on to long.
And that’s why she didn’t make it out of the first round.

She’s 39 and out shape and she expects to win by brute force alone. Kenny Rosewall made it to the finals against Connors at 39 at Wimbledon. I know Ken wasn’t a mother.
