"Yesterday's all-time record for French heat was taken on top of a red tile roof in the sun, at mid day in mid-summer."
Short Video where Tony Heller exposes why the high temperature recently in France was wrong.
He does a follow-up video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qr7U_rSjZTg
Meanwhile, it is much cooler than normal here in the northwest and too cool for the watermelon crop in Texas....
Weather.
hot roof tiles in summer? Quick- Tax the crap out of everyone to ‘save the planet’
How hot was it?
So that shows the new “record” as 114.62 Fahrenheit replacing the old one of 111.38 F.
Video doesn’t give the temperature from an accurate weather station.
Ping.
In other news, Kids used to use Magnifying Glasses to burn Ants.
QUICK!!! EVERYONE STOP LIVING ON RED TILE ROOFS IN FRANCE IMMEDIATELY!!!!
IT IS ALSO ADVISED TO NOT LIVE ON A STOVETOP - ESPECIALLY WHEN THE BURNERS ARE ON!!!
Climate change?
“Hottest on record”
In human record keeping which is a blink of an eye when it comes to the age of the earth. Just looking it up, the hottest recorded temperature ever was in 1913 at Furnace Creek California 134 F. How is that possible when global warming is so bad now we only have 12 years left?
Macron tried that already. It didn't work out so well. Turns out climate change virtue signaling is a lot less popular when you have to pay for it.
I am told there was a pizza-oven near Avignon whose temperature was close to 900 Deg. F
Cry me a river. It is just like the Yankees in America when they have their heat waves. I looked at the forecast for the rest of the week in Paris. Highs in the 80s. Lows in the 50s. Why dont you come some to Texas where we have a heat wave from June to September. I do realize that there are many who dont have air conditioning but it is only for a couple days.
I don’t think Europeans have a logical sense of what “hot” is compared to those in the SW US. Even in Mississippi and West Tennessee we have much warmer temperatures than does England and Europe. When I visited England last year I noticed that the majority of buildings didn’t have AC.
Everybody stop lolly gaggin around. You’d think it was a hunnerd and twenty degrees. Can’t be no more than a hunnerd and fourteen.
Notre Dame included?
> Hottest Rooftop On Record In France <
It could have been worse. Muslims could have set fire to the rooftop.
“Yesterday’s all-time record for French heat was taken on top of a red tile roof in the sun”
And if you painted it black it would be hotter.
I dont get what a random roof temp has to do with anything.
I’m confused. Are they saying the official weather station is up on the roof?
