Yeah. We are.
That needs to be changed.
Want to run for a different office or job? Gotta give up your current office or job and all perks, privilages, pay and benifits first.

There are resign to run laws in
these states but it would take a huge outcry to force it on everyone, not to mention friendly judges that can strike it down along the way like one did with term limits.

Every congresscritter for the 60 years has knowingly spent money we DO NOT HAVE !
They should all have their pensions and all ‘bennnys’ canceled !
It is a TOTAL insult to taxpayers ON THEIR PART to continue
the present fiasco.....Anyone know how to dox all 535 ?

They gave themselves these privileges. They make the laws, and so they made laws to turn themselves into the ruling elite.
With few exceptions, I would like the whole lot of them kicked out and stripped of all benefits.

The queestion of how stupid we are is somewhat rhetorical. “We”, as a collective society prove the adage that our gullibility, or naivete has no bounds.

Or, how about those congresscritters who change parties in the middle of their term? Is that fair to the people that elected them? There should be a law that states you have to serve out your term BEFORE you decide to run for another office or change parties.

Not sure why some folks don’t get term limits. Only way to get term limits, imo,is a constitutional amendment. Won’t even pass congress
