I was able to tolerate bohemian rhapsody because they limited it to kissing and at least Freddie Mercury realized he was a super flawed character and seemed to try to redeem himself. So to me, while the movie didnt hide the queer aspect, it seems to me to portray it as his downfall. Which it was.
Will I feel the same about rocket man?
There was some queer aspect but only with his bf manager who was just so handsome...the guy in tbe Bodyguard series. He is not gay. Must be hard to fake those kisses. The music was awesome I was dancing in my seat.
Nope, they showed his drug and alcohol issues to be his downfall.
There is a very uncomfortable scene of him and his manager/lover, being touted as the first explicit gay scene in a main stream movie...or some words to that effect.
I actually liked the movie but cringed at the sex scene.
