Toy Story 4 is heading for a decisive repeat victory at the North American box office with about $53 million in its second weekend, early estimates showed Friday.
The Pixar sequel, which brings back Woody and Buzz Lightyear after a nine-year hiatus, is dominating as expected with new entries Annabelle Comes Home and Yesterday in a fight for second place with about $15 million each.
Disney-Pixars Toy Story 4 collected $118 million in its inaugural weekend and its North American total topped $167 million in its first six days amid positive reviews and solid word-of-mouth. Toy Story 4 is projected to decline by about 55% and finish the frame with around $230 million domestically in its first 10 days. Its already passed Us as 2019s fourth-highest domestic grosser behind three other Disney titles: Avengers: Endgame at $835 million, Captain Marvel at $426 million and Aladdin at $294 million.

I will wait for Toy Story 35 when animate the robotic dog.
Never saw this flick.

“Toy Story 4 was about selfishness and how it undermines loyalty and becomes betrayal.
After only 7 days, TS4 is 7% ahead of TS3 and it is already the 4th highest grossing movie of the year and 11th worldwide. TS4 should gross a hefty $350 million in the US and $600 to $700 million worldwide. Not every movie can make a billion dollars. Of course, those numbers do not include ancillary revenue, such as, pay cable viewing, streaming for a fee or home sales both digital and DVD. In other words, Toy Story 4 will be wildly profitable for Disney. I'm not even including how much Netflix will pay Disney to stream the movie at its website. Yes, I know Disney is starting its own streaming service but for the moment, its movies go to Netflix after pay cable and home sales and I'm sure the cost to Netflix is not cheap.
Also, in case you are interested, the new Spiderman movie is projected to make $100 million in China in its first 3 days this weekend before hitting the US on July 4.
