A character actor's character actor. Never an A-lister or a household name, Kansas native Drago nonetheless possessed an unforgettable mug that helped him establish a long and successful career as one of Hollywood's most loathed bad guys.
Drago as Al Capone's scumbag henchman Frank Nitti in Brian DePalma's 1987 masterpiece Untouchables.

Good movie but took liberties with history. Most do.
I remember him best as John Bly from The Adventures Of Brisco County Jr.

He was the bad guy in a lot of Chuck Norris movies.
He was also in an episode of the X-Files. All I remember about the episode is that his character was amazed by microwave popcorn. "Poppin' corn!"

Billy Drago as one of Stockburn's deputies in "Pale Rider" (second from right)

He was the deputy Eastwood shot at the horse trough.

He was a super-creepy villain in some episodes of Don Johnson’s cop series “Nash Bridges,” and his son, Darren Burrows, played Ed Chigliak in “Northern Exposure.”

The sign of a good villain is if you walk out of the theater hating his guts...
He was pretty bad ass in the untouchables.

my agent worked on the set of TREMORS 4. BD was the life of the cast, and he was a “freeper”. From what was told to me, he didnt really need the money but he actually loved the original movie with Kevin bacon and Fred ward. Another thing, he owned guns, lots of them supposedly..

"Where's Nitti, Mr. Ness?"
"He's - in the car".........
To: Drew68
Nitti: "I said that your friend died screaming like a stuck Irish pig!" Enraged, Ness throws him off the roof of the courthouse, Nitti screams all the way down to his death. Costner yells out to him as he is falling: "Did he sound anything like that???!!"

That’s actually a VERY cool pic. Loved those 1920/1930’s clothing styles.
They SCREAMED “classy”.
