When I was young and one needed a language to graduate High School Spanish was the easy one to choose. College bound people choose Latin, French, Russian or German. There was no option for Mandarin or Japanese.

I am astonished that the debates set a 15M viewer record, with four point something in the 25-45 demographic. Very scary. I had predicted the opposite. This potentially means a high voter turnout.

Also there was a lot of pandering to Hispanics and less toward blacks.
Hispanics are now more important to Democrats than blacks ensuring blacks will remain at the bottom of the ladder.

Classic example of two psychotic people forced to confront each other. An Israeli jailer once related a story. It seems that the Israeli police have to take into custody many people who believe that they are indeed John the Baptist. Space is limited and often they have to share the same cell. Their reported reaction to each other was not unlike the reaction Booker had to Beto. There will be more of that coming soon.

Booker is an exceptionally light skinned black man, light skin and green eyes. In this debate his makeup seems to be quite a few shades darker. Would you say he’s in blackface?
Hispandering ain’t easy.
Dems were already mocking Beto for speaking Spanish because he is not the party’s chosen one. He is too easy to mock and Trump will have a lot of fodder to choose from with him to keep things lively on Twitter.
We already learned from the past presidential election that the dem candidate is selected, not elected. At this point I think those in charge of the dems know that Trump will be elected for a second term, and that they are going to put up a candidate to sacrifice against him. I think they will select Warren for that role.
Warren is not electable but she will make a good showing against Trump and conduct herself with dignity in the face of Trump’s clowning around. She is boring and predictable and low energy. She will be harder for Trump to bully than the extremely unlikable Hillary Clinton. This will enable the dems to have four more years of “outrage” over how uncivilized the “deplorables” are. Also there will be a lot of cries about how “sexist” the country is.
The other good sacrificial lamb would be Bootygig, as he is similarly unelectable and would enable lots of outrage over “homophobia.” However, Bootygig has not handled the pressure well when he gets any criticism in public, and I think that since the dems are going to want to play victim as much as possible this election cycle, he is proving himself to be a very poor choice as sacrificial lamb.
He can speak all the foreign languages he wants to, but nothing - NOTHING - is more persuasive than the adept usage of the age old “Bill Clinton knuckle pointer”!!
