I'm ignorant about certain facts, but, if he has a broken spine, how could he move...or drink from down there? I thought a broken spine leaves one paralyzed.
To: 1_Rain_Drop
Not necessarily. There are compression fractures to vertebrae that dont displace anything.

The bear would have to be pretty hungry. Humans are not that tasty to any animals. How many animals wear a deodorant?

“hunters......saw what they believed was human mummy, until they RELEASED he was alive.”
RELEASED? This is an ostensible ENGLISH newspaper- not proofread by an editor.... or maybe, it was.
RELEASED= Realized. Honestly, glaring stupid content error.

Not buying it either. In order to produce urine— one has to have... eventually drinking water. Urine has water, but being drunk as a source of water eventually— reduces the amount and will destroy the kidneys.
That said— also the rotting wounds, for a month- and this was not in subzero temps-— long ago become gangrene.
Not buying this at all, especially with the terrible English usage and wrong words in sentences.
