The Trump administration is not planning to block former special counsel Robert Mueller from testifying to Congress next month, President Trump’s personal attorney Jay Sekulow said Wednesday.
“There are no legal moves being made here,” Sekulow said during a CNN interview.
Sekulow said the president’s team expects Mueller not to stray from the findings of his report, adding that he believes it “certainly would be inappropriate” to offer a “new revelation” to lawmakers.
Trump on Wednesday lamented Mueller’s testimony, saying “it never ends,” and renewed his attacks on the former Russia investigation prosecutor by accusing him without evidence of illegally deleting text messages from two former FBI officials who criticized the president.

And Barr should hold back everything that might be declassified until Mueller testifies under oath. Get his story on the record and then release all information, especially call attention to things which oppose Mueller’s sworn testimony.
